Das Obertor (auch "Walporzheimer Tor" oder "Gesemer Tor") von Ahrweiler, im Westen der Stadt gelegen ist St. Ursula gewidmet. Auf einer bronzenen Infotafel an der Südseite heißt es zum Obertor („Gesemer Porze“): „Westlicher Torturm der Stadtbefestigung des 13.-15. Jahrhunderts, viergeschossig mit ausgekragtem Obergeschoss, vier Ecktürmchen und spitzem Walmdach. Außen Spitzbogentor, Fallgitterschutz, Pechnase, drei eingemauerte Steinkugeln zum Gedenken an die Belagerung durch die burgundischen Truppen Karls des Kühnen 1476, Figur der Hl. Ursula mit Schutzmantel, Patronin der Oberhut."
The Upper Gate (also called "Walporzheimer gate" or "Gesemergate") of Ahrweiler, is located in the west of the city and is dedicated to St. Ursula. Outside a pointed arch, portcullis protection, pitch nose, three walled stone balls to commemorate the siege by the troops of Charles the Bold of Burgundy in 1476, the figure of St. Ursula, the patron of the Oberhut, with a coat."

Da diese zu den nicht reblausresistenten Rebenarten gehört, wird sie zum Schutz vor der Reblaus auf teilresistente Unterlagen (Wurzeln) der wilden Rebarten Vitis riparia, Vitis rupestris, Vitis berlandieri bzw. deren interspezifischen Kreuzungen (Hybridreben) gepfropft.
Die häufigsten Weine sind Rot- und Weißweine sowie Roséweine. Schaumwein (Sekt, Cava, Champagner etc.) entsteht aus Wein während einer zweiten Gärung. Gering schäumende Weine werden als Perlweine bezeichnet (Prosecco frizzante, Secco etc.). Dabei wird in der Regel dem Wein die Kohlensäure technisch zugesetzt.
Vine (vino borrowed from Latin through Latin vinum province and also probably a walking word that has come from the Semitic languages in the Indo-European) is an alcoholic beverage that is made from the fermented juice of grapes. The berries grow in grape-like, elongated panicles on the grapevine (Vitis vinifera). They come mainly from its subspecies, the European noble grape vine Vitis vinifera subsp. vinifera. Since this is not one of the phylloxera-resistant grape species, it is grafted to prevent phylloxera-resistant documents on part (roots) of wild vine varieties Vitis riparia, Vitis rupestris, Vitis berlandieri and their interspecific hybrids (hybrid vines).The most common are red wines and white wines and rosés. Sparkling wine (champagne, cava, champagne, etc.) is formed from a second wine during fermentation. Low foaming wines are described as semi-sparkling (frizzante Prosecco, Secco, etc.). For this technical carbon dioxide is normally added to the wine.
